Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting About the role: This is a rare opportunity to work at the operational heart of Lendable's Engineering organisation, reporting directly to the CTO. You'll create real leverage for senior Technology leadership — improving the quality of analysis, sharpening initiative visibility, and ensuring the CTO's time is focused on what matters most. It's a role that starts as close, high-trust support and grows rapidly into broader ownership of CTO Office operating rhythm and cross-functional coordination. This role suits an exceptionally capable, analytical, and discreet individual who is early in their career but capable of working and communicating at the most senior levels. You don't need a software engineering background — but you do need to be first-principles thinker, . In return, you'll get direct daily exposure to how a profitable, high-growth fintech operates at the top. Your team's objectives: - Give the CTO clear, reliable visibility across Engineering initiatives, progress, blockers and risks. - Ensure the CTO's time and attention are directed to where they have the highest impact. - Produce executive-quality analysis, reporting and communications with minimal CTO input. - Drive the Engineering operating rhythm — Quarterly Planning, initiative tracking, and leadership forums. - Identify and act on opportunities to optimise Engineering costs, supplier value and organisational productivity. - Accelerate adoption of AI tools and workflows across the CTO Office and Engineering. How you'll impact those objectives: - Own first-draft executive materials independently for the CTO, exec team and senior stakeholders. - Build and maintain initiative trackers across major Technology workstreams; chase updates and escalate material risks or unclear ownership on the CTO's behalf. - Complete data-driven analysis of organisational, operational, delivery and cost challenges, combining data from multiple sources and presenting findings clearly. - Coordinate Engineering Quarterly Planning, the leadership agenda, and wider CTO Office operating schedule. - Analyse Engineering supplier costs, usage and optimisation opportunities; prepare review materials in coordination with Procurement and Finance. - Apply AI tools to research, synthesis, drafting, workflow automation and data analysis — and build lightweight repeatable workflows that improve pace across the CTO Office.
