Logistics Support Specialist Summary  The Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for executing a wide range of logistics, warehousing, supply chain, and Foreign‑Trade Zone (FTZ) support activities to ensure efficient, compliant, and well‑coordinated operations. This role handles receiving and processing materials, managing inventory, preparing domestic and international shipments, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.  The specialist also supports import/export operations, trade compliance, and FTZ program requirements, including documentation preparation, regulatory adherence, coordination with carriers and customs brokers, and maintaining accurate records. The role utilizes SAP, ERP systems, Oracle, and Microsoft Office applications to track inventory, process transactions, generate reports, and communicate with suppliers and internal teams.  Essential Duties & Responsibilities  Logistics & Warehouse Operations  Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and verifying incoming materials.  Retrieve materials, pick orders, and accurately pack items for domestic and international shipment.  Prepare parcels, create shipping labels, and stage orders in designated delivery areas.  Organize materials by sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or bins.  Conduct cycle counts and full physical inventories; reconcile discrepancies and report variances.  Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse and work environment.  Collaborate with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.  Comply with all company safety policies, operational procedures, and quality standards.  Import/Export & Trade Compliance  Prepare, review, and maintain import/export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.  Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers to ensure timely and compliant shipments.  Support adherence to trade compliance regulations, including U.S. Customs (CBP), EAR, ITAR, and international shipping requirements.  Track shipments and provide status updates to internal departments and external partners.  Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance reporting.  Assist in resolving customs delays, documentation discrepancies, or shipment issues.  Involvement in import/export operations, trade compliance, and Temporary Importation under Bond (TIB) activities.   Foreign‑Trade Zone (FTZ) Responsibilities  Support the establishment, rollout, and long‑term sustainment of FTZ project.  Maintain continuous compliance with FTZ guidelines, including reporting, recordkeeping, and audit readiness.  Manage inventory systems and reconcile physical locations for FTZ‑controlled materials.  Prepare and submit FTZ‑required reports accurately and on time.  Supply Chain & Systems Management  Perform inventory and supply chain transactions using SAP, ERP systems, and Oracle.  Process purchase requests, payment submissions, and materials transactions.  Utilize Microsoft Office products to generate reports, track data, and communicate operational updates.  Help maintain accurate inventory levels by monitoring stock movements and reporting shortages, overages, and variances.  Required  Minimum age of 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.  Strong computer proficiency with inventory and supply chain management systems.  Working knowledge of SAP and ERP platforms.  Experience preparing shipping documents and supporting import/export processes.&#xa ...
