This role offers the unique opportunity to get in at the ground floor and operate at a "startup" pace for one of DoorDash’s fastest and most promising new bets in the retail and logistics space. You will report directly to the <strong>Manager of Retail Partnerships</strong> within our Merchant Business Development organization, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of how we scale with our most important partners.</p> <h2><strong>You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Be a key go-to player for merchant strategy, serving as the primary source of truth for all merchant insights and helping set the strategic vision for our emerging retail and parcel business.</li> <li>Bridge the gap between data and action by using SQL and Python to discover untapped expansion opportunities and then partnering with enterprise partner managers and cross-functional teams to drive their end-to-end implementation.</li> <li>Empower Enterprise Partner Managers by providing the analytical foundation for high-stakes decisions and high-impact commercial collateral, including QBR/ABR decks and operational Source of Truth (SOT) frameworks.</li> <li>Support the full merchant lifecycle, from mining raw data for growth levers to supporting new merchant launches and managing critical operational workflows like quarterly zip coverage and invoice resolution.</li> <li>Drive high-visibility impact by identifying "greenfield" opportunities that directly result in revenue and delivery volume growth for DoorDash and our most strategic merchant partners.</li> <li>Accelerate your career in the retail and logistics space, gaining deep domain expertise and the autonomy to build new analytical frameworks from the ground up in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>We’re excited about you because…</strong></h2> <ul> <li>You have 2+ years of experience in banking, consulting, or analytical roles</li> <li>You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.</li> <li>You are a master in data analysis and fluent in either SQL or Python </li> <li>You have relevant experience or a deep-seated interest in expanding your knowledge of the retail, ecommerce, or logistics industries.</li> <li>You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a "nose for opportunity" and the tenacity to thrive within ambiguous, fast-paced environments.</li> <li>You have the ability to make confident strategic decisions even when faced with imperfect or incomplete data.</li> <li>You are a natural collaborator and consensus builder who excels at working with cross-functional partners to align technical analysis with business goals.</li> <li>You have excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>You have a naturally optimistic outlook that is balanced by objective analysis</li> </ul><br><p style="font-weight: 500">Notice to Applicants for Jobs Located in NYC or Remote Jobs Associated With Office in NYC Only</p><p>We use Covey as part of our hiring and/or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT in NYC.
