You will drive the AI roadmap with a focus on expanding AI-driven API collaboration and agentic capabilities across the platform. This role requires a leader who can identify market opportunities, coordinate cross-functional AI initiatives, and foster strong partnerships to amplify the Postman AI platform's impact</p> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <ul class="ak-ul" data-indent-level="1"> <li>Lead the development and execution of Postman’s AI platform strategy, focused on API ecosystem growth and platform innovation.</li> <li>Drive the AI roadmap, concentrating on API integration, platform expansion, and AI-driven agent functionality.</li> <li>Identify and capitalize on market opportunities for AI-enhanced API collaboration and intelligent agent features.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with business units, product teams, engineering, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful AI initiatives deployment.</li> <li>Oversee implementation with core AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, etc)), ensuring technical and strategic alignment with AI features and API lifecycle improvements.</li> <li>Mentor and inspire internal teams and external collaborators to embrace AI innovation in API contexts.</li> <li>Evaluate emerging AI technologies and tools to continuously enhance platform capabilities.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>About You</strong></h2> <ul class="ak-ul" data-indent-level="1"> <li>Proven leadership experience managing AI or platform teams, preferably in API-centric or developer platform companies.</li> <li>Strong technical background in AI, machine learning, and API platforms with hands-on experience in developing or integrating AI-driven APIs or agents.</li> <li>Deep understanding of API ecosystems, platform strategy, and partner dynamics</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate complex projects involving product, engineering, partnerships, and marketing.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Passion for AI safety, ethical AI development, and building scalable, user-centric platforms.</li> </ul> <p><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Preferred</strong>:</p> <ul class="ak-ul" data-indent-level="1"> <li>Experience working in or with API developer tools, SaaS ecosystems, or AI agent platforms.</li> <li>Background in product strategy or technical partner management related to AI and cloud platforms.</li> <li>Strong network in AI and API partner communities.</li> </ul> <p>The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $310,000.00 to $345,000.00, plus a competitive equity package.
