These services form the foundation of customer trust—from authentication and access controls to secret scanning, auditing, and compliance.</p> <p>We work across the stack and across teams, partnering closely with infrastructure, product, and security to deliver solutions that protect our global user base.</p> <h2><strong>The Role</strong></h2> <p>We are looking for an exceptional <strong>Senior Engineer</strong> who will lead the development of next-generation systems within the Product Trust domain. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building critical platform components, enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, and has a deep appreciation for both security and user experience.</p> <p>You will play a key role in shaping the technical roadmap, owning delivery end-to-end, and mentoring other engineers as we build resilient systems at scale.</p> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain <strong>tier 0</strong> systems that are secure, scalable, and highly available.<br><br></li> <li>Take ownership of backend infrastructure that powers core trust and security features at Postman.<br><br></li> <li>Work with your manager and senior team members to evolve the technical<strong> roadmap</strong> for the Product Trust team and guide architectural decisions.<br><br></li> <li>Contribute to product design by bringing in a security and trust lens to every feature we ship.<br><br></li> <li>Lead engineering best practices in code quality, observability, incident response, and system reliability.<br><br></li> <li>Mentor engineers within the team and support hiring, onboarding, and planning efforts.<br><br></li> </ul> <h2><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h2> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering roles, ideally in platform or security-focused domains.<br><br></li> <li>Expertise with <strong>Node.js</strong>, <strong>TypeScript/JavaScript</strong>, and <strong>web frameworks</strong> (e.g., React) along with solid web fundamentals.<br><br></li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>distributed systems</strong>, <strong>databases</strong> (SQL/NoSQL), <strong>web services</strong>, and backend architecture.<br><br></li> <li>Passion for building products that are <strong>secure by design</strong> and delightfully simple for users.<br><br></li> <li>Demonstrated experience driving projects from ideation to production.<br><br></li> <li>Strong system design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.<br><br></li> <li>A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across team boundaries.<br><br></li> <li>Experience with mentoring engineers or leading small teams is a strong plus.<br><br></li> </ul> <h2><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Help shape the future of ...
