iOS Engineer

In this role, you will own features end-to-end, contribute to the quality and evolution of our iOS codebase, and work closely with product, design, and backend teams to ship reliable, high-impact experiences used by millions of riders. You will be responsible for making sure our app is beautiful, easy-to-use, and can scale to millions of happy users.This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates residing in Canada to maintain effective collaboration across teams.What you'll do:Build, ship, and maintain user-facing iOS features used at global scaleOwn medium-sized features or components from design through productionWrite clean, testable, and maintainable Swift codeCollaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend EngineersParticipate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planningDebug production issues and contribute to improving reliability and performanceImprove existing code through refactoring, simplification, and tech-debt reductionLearn and apply best practices in iOS architecture, testing, and performanceAbout you:2+ years of professional iOS development experience, and a track record of building impactful products or systems.Strong proficiency in Swift and UIKitExperience with mobile testing frameworks and services.Passionate. You’re passionate about Lime's mission and micro mobility; you want to see cities transform to become people-centric and less polluted.Preferred Experience:Performance tuning, memory optimizationCI/CD pipelines and release processesExperience working on consumer apps at scaleThe salary range listed reflects what Lime reasonably expects to offer for this role, with the final base salary determined by factors such as the candidate’s location and relevant skills and experience.
