MissionFinch was started by 2 friends (Nino & Steph ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ) who struggled with anxiety and depression and found self-care challenging to stick with. We decided to build Finch hoping to make self-care fun and accessible after seeing many others share similar struggles. Finch was launched in 2021, and our team is grateful to have helped over 20 million people on their mental health journeys.Finch is profitable and we believe in responsible growth. We are a small but mighty team who are passionate about mental health.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled animator who can bring characters to life through dynamic and engaging animations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of motion, especially character animation.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate high-quality character animations.Develop animations with a strong sense of weight, physics, and timingCollaborate with other creatives to produce engaging and innovative contentContribute to the creative process from conceptualization to final deliveryRequirementsAdvanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, especially in character animation.Given a script and creative direction, candidate must be able to independently execute animation production from storyboarding to final delivery.Portfolio demonstrating high-quality animation workExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFluency in English (both written and spoken)Other Preferred Skills (Big plus but not a must)Knowledge of 3D character creation and animationLocated in Asia or Australia (GMT+7 to GMT+11 time zones)Proficiency in 3D softwares, such as Cinema 4D, Maya, or BlenderExperience with RiveWhat We OfferOpportunity to work in a fast-growing startup environmentCollaboration with world-class creativesChance to create cutting-edge, dynamic, and engaging animationsCompetitive salary and benefits packageProfessional growth and learning opportunities
