No matter what question a user comes to ChatGPT with, this team makes sure they get the perfect experience.About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced engineering leader to grow and guide our Answer Experience team.In this role, you will:Hire and manage a diverse, high-performing engineering teamCollaborate with teams across research, product, design, and engineering to enable step-change improvements to how ChatGPT answers look and feelCoach engineers to maximize their impact and growthCreate an inclusive culture that makes all feel welcome while enabling radical candor and the challenging of groupthinkYou might thrive in this role if you: Have 10+ years of experience in engineering, including 5+ years of experience in engineering managementHave a passion for building and evolving delightful, essential product experiencesAre comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change, and eager to get deep into the weeds to help solve problemsHave a strong track record of coaching engineers to achieve their peak potentialFeel a voracious and intrinsic desire to learn and fill in missing skills—and an equally strong talent for sharing learnings clearly and concisely with othersHave experience attracting and hiring top talent for highly competitive technical roles, and can effectively communicate a vision that resonates with candidatesThis role is exclusively based in our San Francisco HQ.
