Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.</span></p> <p style="line-height: 1.2;"> </p></div><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Legend Biotech is seeking a <strong>RD Novel CAR Intern </strong>as part of the <strong>Research Early Development </strong>team based in <strong>Somerset, NJ</strong>.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Role Overview</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This position offers hands‑on experience in designing and developing novel CAR constructs or vectors for next‑generation cell therapies. The intern will perform molecular/cellular biology experiments, analyze data, and collaborate across teams to advance early‑stage therapeutic concepts.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assist in evaluating novel CAR constructs/vectors using molecular and cellular techniques.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Perform cell culture, transfection, and functional assays to assess CAR/vector performance.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Analyze experimental data, maintain accurate records, and present findings to the research team.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate cross‑functionally to progress early discovery programs.</span></li> </ul> <div class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Requirements</strong></span></div> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Basic knowledge of molecular biology, cell culture, and immunology principles.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with flow cytometry, PCR, ELISA, or other immunoassays a plus.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to ...
