Mechanical Design Engineer, Battery HV Distribution

We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</span></p></div><h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Own mechanical design on components for future battery pack designs</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support with sustaining efforts on current battery design</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Conduct basic testing and validation of battery systems and components</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Design and build prototypes to prove out design concepts</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Conduct failure analysis and troubleshooting of battery systems related to your components</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you need: </strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">1-5 years of mechanical design experience </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of HV systems and design practices </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Solid background in CAD / tolerance stack / GDT (NX experience preferred)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience developing parts with various manufacturing processes</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Knows how to use simplified tools, calculations, CAE to quickly drive development.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
