This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a leading-edge technology company and contribute directly to our growth. </p> <p>The successful candidate will partner closely with internal business teams on a broad variety of transactional and other business matters. You will report to Managing Counsel, Weights Biases Commercial and work closely with colleagues across the US, EMEA and APAC. </p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Review and negotiate SaaS and software licensing agreements with enterprise customers, working closely with Sales, Finance and Product to drive deals to closure;</li> <li>Review and negotiate a wide range of other commercial agreements, including data processing, professional services and partnership agreements, working with stakeholders across the organization;</li> <li>Implement and improve policies, templates and processes to manage legal and business risk on a global scale.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are: </strong></p> <ul> <li>JD degree and a member of a U.S. state bar in good standing;</li> <li>3+ years of combined legal experience in-house and/or at a law firm, with primary focus on commercial and technology transactions;</li> <li>Substantive knowledge of SaaS and software licensing agreements;</li> <li>Working knowledge of GDPR and Privacy Laws;</li> <li>A track record of closing complex commercial agreements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting a VC-backed technology or high-growth technology company;</li> <li>Ability to identify and address data protection issues in commercial transactions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Wondering if you’re a good fit? </strong><strong>We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match.</strong><strong> Here are a few qualities we’ve found compatible with our team.
