The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, and server technologies, combined with strong project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The role will require you to be <strong>on-site in Ellendale, North Dakota</strong>.</p> <p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Project Planning and Execution: Lead the full lifecycle of multiple simultaneous data center deployment projects, including design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations.</li> <li>Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams. Facilitate clear communication and collaboration across all parties involved and hold meetings with your vendors and site to meet timelines.</li> <li>Resource Management: Effectively manage and allocate resources (teams, tools, budget), ensuring that all project phases are adequately staffed and equipped to meet fast-paced timelines.</li> <li>Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, create mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to minimize disruptions to project timelines.</li> <li>Scheduling Budgeting: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed contractual constraints.</li> <li>Quality Assurance: Ensure that all data center deployments meet technical and quality standards, including compliance with industry best practices and local regulations.</li> <li>Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design documents, and give regular progress reports.</li> <li>Technical Oversight and Collaboration: Provide technical guidance to teams, in collaboration with experts, on best practices for data center design and deployment, including considerations for power, cooling, networking, and physical security.</li> <li>Continual Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance data center operations.</li> <li>Project Oversight: Ability to be on-site to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth project execution. Coordinate with local teams, contractors, and vendors during on-site visits.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of <strong>direct, hands-on experience</strong> in data center deployment, data center construction/whitespace project management, or technical project management in data centers.</li> <li>Experience with high-performance compute environments and GPU technologies is a plus.</li> <li>Project Management Skills: Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from initiation to comp ...
