Using operations and engineering to overcome obstacles and scale/automate processes, we experiment where most marketing teams fall short. As a Marketing Automation Manager on the team, you will own the systems and processes that power marketing campaigns and directly accelerate revenue growth.</p> <p><strong>We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site at our HQ in San Mateo, CA 5 days a week.</strong></p> <h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Marketing Operations</strong> <ul> <li>Serve as the operational backbone for 20+ demand generation marketers running multi-region campaigns.</li> <li>Own and optimize lead ingestion, enrichment, routing, and lifecycle management—ensuring sales receives high-quality leads, quickly and efficiently.</li> <li>Champion marketing ops best practices and scale-friendly infrastructure, driving adoption of tools and processes across the organization.</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with sales, engineering, analytics, and brand to align campaign execution with business goals.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Campaign Execution Enablement</strong> <ul> <li>Own everything from day-to-day campaign execution to scaling campaign operations for a fast-growing, multi-region team.</li> <li>Translate campaign requirements into scalable systems workflows, reducing manual steps and eliminating operational friction.</li> <li>Build infrastructure to support campaign performance monitoring, attribution, and insights via automation and reporting tools.</li> <li>Act as the go-to expert for tools like Marketo/Hubspot and Salesforce—supporting program setup, lead flows, integrations, and field mappings.<strong><br></strong></li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Technical Ownership</strong> <ul> <li>Design and maintain ETL pipelines to support real-time campaign logic, reporting, and data quality initiatives using SQL, Python, and other tools.</li> <li>Build scalable automations and integrations across MarTech tools using Workato, AWS, Retool, APIs, and more.</li> <li>Manage complex workflows and integrations for webinars, demos, and intent-triggered campaigns.</li> <li>Monitor lead flow and pipeline health using BI tools (e.g. Looker) to identify issues and drive campaign optimizations.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>What You Bring</strong></h3> <ul> <li>5+ years in Software Engineering, Marketing Technology, Business Systems, or Revenue Operations, ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Marketo (or HubSpot) and Salesforce, including building automations, integrations, and managing lifecycle flows.</li> <li>Expertise in marketing infrastructure, including web form ingestion, API-based lead capture, enrichment tools (e.g. Clearbit), and real-time follow-up logic.</li> <li>Advanced SQL skills and working knowledge of Python; experienced in building or maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.</li> <li>Strong experience with automation/integration platforms (e.g. Zapier, Workato, Retool, AWS Lambda).</li> <li>Process-o ...
