In this role, you will design advanced functionality for managing user access, permissions, and security controls to meet the complex needs of national and global enterprises. Your work will empower customers to scale Verkada’s solutions seamlessly across their organizations, enhancing productivity while ensuring top-tier privacy capabilities and security compliance.</p> <p>We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires you to be on-site at our office in San Mateo, CA 5 days per week.</p> <h3><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Develop scalable and secure user and group management solutions to address the needs of enterprise customers with complex organizational structures</li> <li>Drive the implementation of advanced identity and access management (IAM) capabilities, including multi-factor authentication(MFA), role-based access control (RBAC), and single-sign on (SSO) integrations</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to design user permission hierarchies and access workflows optimized for large-scale, distributed organizations</li> <li>Build privacy and compliance controls aligned with global regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to support enterprise-level deployments</li> <li>Partner with Engineering, Design, and Customer Success teams to deliver solutions that simplify access management and meet security expectations</li> <li>Gather feedback from customers and analyze usage data to continuously refine and enhance scalability, usability, and adoption of key features</li> <li>Define success metrics, track outcomes, and communicate progress to stakeholders</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What You Bring</strong></h3> <ul> <li>6+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a focus on enterprise customer acquisition, expansion, and retention</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus</li> <li>Strong technical expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, emphasizing scalable solutions for enterprise organizations</li> <li>Experience with authentication protocols and standards, including OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, SCIM, and Single Sign-On (SSO)</li> <li>Familiarity with advanced security features such as multi-factor Authentication (MFA) and digital authentication workflows</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to design solutions for audit logs and compliance workflows</li> <li>Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities and drive decisions based on data</li> <li>Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering customer-centric solutions</li> <li>Proven success in building integrations with enterprise tools like Okta, Azure Entra, Google Workspace is a strong plus</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Employee Benefits</strong></h3> <p>Verkada is committed to fostering a workplace environment that prioritizes the holistic health and wellbeing of our employees and their families by offering comprehensive wellness perks, benefits, and resour ...
