Here, you'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that’s setting the pace for responsible, transformative cloud infrastructure.About This Role:Crusoe Energy is seeking an experienced Area Project Controls Manager to provide leadership and oversight across multiple large-scale construction projects supporting Crusoe’s rapidly growing AI and energy infrastructure platform. This role operates at both the project execution level and the program/area governance level, driving accountability, consistency, and best practices across cost, schedule, risk, and reporting.The Area Project Controls Manager will lead a team of cost and project controls professionals, partner closely with onsite vendors, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and Crusoe clients by delivering clear, data-driven insights into financial and schedule performance across an assigned area or program.What you’ll be working on:Provide area-level leadership across multiple concurrent construction projects, ensuring alignment to program goals, budgets, and schedulesDrive standardization, consistency, and best practices across cost management, scheduling, change management, risk management, and reportingLead and manage a team of cost managers responsible for:Monthly cost reportingCash flow forecastingChange and risk managementPay application reviewClient billing submissionsAssess overall cost and schedule health across an area or program, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities earlyDevelop and communicate clear, actionable financial and schedule insights to senior leadership and Crusoe clientsManage critical deliverables and performance of onsite vendors providing cost management and scheduling servicesSupport program-level governance by ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent reporting across all projectsPartner cross-functionally with construction, engineering, procurement, and leadership teams to support successful project executionWhat you’ll bring to the team:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field12+ years of experience in Project Controls and Construction Cost ManagementDemonstrated experience managing multiple projects with area- or program-level accountabilityProven leadership of program- or area-wide initiatives focused on standardization and continuous improvementAdvanced financial and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate cost and schedule performance holisticallyStrong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders and clientsExperience leading teams and managing external vendors delivering cost and scheduling servicesAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced, large-scale construction environmentsBenefits:Industry competitive payRestricted Stock Units in a fast-growing, well-funded technology companyHealth insurance package options including HDHP and PPO, vision, and dental for you and your dependentsEmployer contributions to HSA accountsPaid parental leavePaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disabilityTeladoc401(k) with a 100% match up to 4% of salaryGenerous paid time off and holiday scheduleCell phone reimbursementTuition reimbursementSubscription to the Calm appMetLife LegalCompany-paid commuter benefit; $50 per pay periodCompensation Range:Compensation will be paid in the range of $225,000 – $250,000.
