About Liquid AISpun out of MIT CSAIL, we build general-purpose AI systems that run efficiently across deployment targets, from data center accelerators to on-device hardware, ensuring low latency, minimal memory usage, privacy, and reliability. We partner with enterprises across consumer electronics, automotive, life sciences, and financial services. We are scaling rapidly and need exceptional people to help us get there.The OpportunityYou'll join our Product team to build the interfaces that make complex AI workflows feel simple. Our platform helps enterprises customize, deploy, and manage AI models without needing deep ML expertise. You'll own the frontend systems that translate sophisticated machine learning capabilities into intuitive user experiences, working directly with ML researchers, backend engineers, and designers in a fast-moving environment where your decisions shape the product.While San Francisco and Boston are preferred, we are open to other locations.What We're Looking ForWe need someone who:Thrives in ambiguity: You can take a vague goal like "add authentication" and break it into actionable work without waiting for detailed specsUnblocks themselves: When an API needs changing, you jump in and fix it rather than waiting on the backend. You ask questions, but make decisions to keep movingOwns the product: You care about user feedback, monitor metrics, and proactively surface improvements. You're not just pushing pixelsBalances speed and quality: You know when to prototype fast and when to build for scale. You ship frequently without accumulating unnecessary tech debtThe WorkBuild and iterate on frontend systems for our AI model customization and deployment platformCreate intuitive interfaces that make complex ML workflows accessible to non-technical enterprise usersCollaborate with ML researchers and backend engineers to design seamless data flows and API contractsPolish demos and prototypes for enterprise customers on short timelinesContribute to our mobile app if you have native development experienceDesired ExperienceMust-have:Strong proficiency in React and Next.js with TypeScriptExperience with modern frontend tooling (TailwindCSS, component libraries like ShadCN)Comfort working with APIs, data models, and making light backend modifications when neededTrack record of shipping in fast-paced, ambiguous environments (startup or early-stage experience valued)Nice-to-have:Native mobile development experience (iOS Swift or Android Kotlin)Experience building enterprise software, developer tools, or AI-based workflow productsFamiliarity with Postgres-style databases (Supabase, Neon) and RESTful API designWhat Success Looks Like (Year One)Frontend is no longer a bottleneck: the team trusts you to handle any UI work end-to-endYou've shipped major features that enterprise customers use dailyYou've established patterns and components that accelerate the entire product teamWhat We OfferReal ownership: You'll own the frontend across multiple product surfaces with room to expand into other areasCompensation: Competitive base salary with equity in a unicorn-stage companyHealth: We pay 100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees and dependentsFinancial: 401(k) matching up to 4% of base payTime Off: Unlimited PTO plus company-wide Refill Days throughout the year
