<p>We’re looking for a <strong>Senior Staff Software Developer </strong>to join our Developer Infrastructure organization. In this role, you will serve as a technical leader and architect across the org. You will shape the future of developer experience at Robinhood, leading initiatives that improve velocity, quality, and reliability at scale.</p>

<h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Architect and build robust, scalable systems that enhance Robinhood’s ability to deliver high-quality, full stack applications quickly and safely</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Lead cross-functional engineering efforts that improve frontend and backend developer workflows — including build systems, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, local dev environments, and dev-config tooling</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Drive design reviews, operational readiness, and post-incident learnings for core developer experience systems</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Champion engineering productivity by identifying friction in the development lifecycle and automating complex workflows</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Set strategy and technical standards that elevate code quality, observability, and operational reliability across web, mobile, and service layers</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Collaborate with product, platform, and infrastructure teams to align on long-term roadmaps and architectural direction</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Provide technical mentorship and influence across teams, elevating engineering practices company-wide</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>What you bring </strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a Staff or Senior Staff role</li>
<li>Deep experience designing and building large-scale developer infrastructure systems (e.g., CI/CD, build systems, testing frameworks, dev environments, observability tooling)</li>
<li>Strong expertise in one or more programming languages (Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript preferred)</li>
<li>Proven track record of leading cross-functional engineering initiatives and shipping platform-wide improvements</li>
<li>Exceptional communication and collaboration skills — comfortable influencing across all levels of engineering and product</li>
<li>Passion for developer experience, operational excellence, and enabling others to succeed</li>
