We are looking for talented candidates to help with the full-scale production of Starlink. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, enjoy solving complex problems with high-impact solutions, and love the challenge of building something from scratch, then this role will be an ideal next step in your career.<br><br><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assemble mechanical and electrical components of gateways, subassemblies, and final vehicle integrations.</li> <li>Build small electrical sub-assemblies and wire harnesses </li> <li>Integrate PCB assemblies into product chassis.</li> <li>Support conformal coating, masking, epoxy application, and coating processes.</li> <li>Operate complex automated equipment, troubleshooting and maintaining as needed.</li> <li>Conduct functional testing of hardware, including setup, instrumentation, test execution, and teardown.</li> <li>Set up tests to support thermal, shock, thermal vacuum, and vibration regimes.</li> <li>Prioritize schedules and work independently to meet company deliverables.</li> </ul> <p><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school degree or equivalency certificate.</li> <li>1+ years of hands-on mechanical work experience or vocational training/cert</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, integration, or mechanical assembly.</li> <li>Proficient in using a PC, Microsoft Windows, and the Microsoft Office suite.</li> <li>Ability to read, interpret, and work from layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists.</li> <li>Experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing, precision manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing company.</li> <li>Electro-mechanical assembly and prototype development experience.</li> <li>Experience setting up and conducting tests and experiments.</li> </ul> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. <ul> <li>Estimated shift times 1st shift: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM; 2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Standing for long periods, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.</li> <li>Able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted.</li> </ul> <p><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: </strong></p> <div>Pay range: </div> <div>Starlink Gateway Technician/Level 1: $22.00 - $26.50/hour </div> <div>Starlink Gateway Technician/Level 2: $25.50 - $31.00/hour </div> <div>Starlink Gateway Technician/Level 3: $29.50 - $37.00/hour </div> <p>Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.</p> <p>Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
