You will be a critical part of a team that handles a wide range of services, from routine maintenance to complex engine and electrical diagnostics. You'll be responsible for performing a variety of essential services that keep our customers on the road safely. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring every service is completed with precision and efficiency. </p> <p>If you are detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and are passionate about automotive care, we want to talk to you.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Diagnose and Repair Vehicle Systems: </strong>Perform complex diagnostic tests using specialized tools, scan tools, and technical manuals to identify the root cause of mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues. Execute repairs on a wide range of vehicle components and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, air conditioning, and electrical systems, following manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.</li> <li><strong>Complete Scheduled Maintenance and Factory Recalls:</strong> Perform comprehensive scheduled maintenance services (e.g., major interval services, timing belt replacements) and execute factory recall campaigns, ensuring all necessary updates and repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.</li> <li><strong>Customer Communication: </strong>Accurately document all services performed and communicate any findings to the Service Advisor. Communicate findings clearly to service advisors, advise on additional necessary repairs or maintenance, and ensure complete transparency with the customer's vehicle issues and solutions.</li> <li><strong>Operational Excellence:</strong> Adhere to all dealership and OEM procedures for service work. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.</li> <li><strong>Team Collaboration:</strong> Work collaboratively with fellow technicians, parts team members, and service advisors to ensure a smooth and seamless workflow.</li> <li><strong>Continuous Learning: </strong>Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and certification programs. Be a resource for junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you should have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Expert trans diag, able to tear down, rebuild, remove and reinstall transmission.</li> <li> 5+ years of experience as a Transmission Technician in a dealership or reputable independent shop.</li> <li>Transmission Repair Experience Required</li> <li>Foundational knowledge of automotive systems, including engi ...
