In addition, build and re-build equipment for various manufacturing needs</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to perform all tasks as required for a Weld Maintenance Mechanic I</li> <li>Mentor and follow specified maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair production machinery and tools</li> <li>Electrically troubleshoot issues using a meter</li> <li>Intermediate level mechanical troubleshooting skillset with robotics and welding equipment (troubleshoot / repair components, replace faulty components /equipment, etc.)</li> <li>Intermediate robotic experience (robot movements, navigate/troubleshoot utilizing teach pendant, edit/modify programs via teach pendant)</li> <li>Intermediate welding knowledge and processes (MIG, Spot, Stud, etc.)</li> <li>Use the following equipment safely: Intermediate Level <ul> <li>Hand Tools</li> <li>Hand and Surface Grinders</li> <li>Torches</li> <li>Hydraulic Jack</li> <li>Welders</li> <li>Scissor Lift</li> <li>Boom lift</li> <li>Forklift</li> <li>Drill Presses</li> </ul> </li> <li>Intermediate troubleshooting of both welding equipment and systems</li> <li>Intermediate knowledge/troubleshooting of lubrication processes (correct type, function, when to use, etc)</li> <li>Provide coaching and direction to Weld Maintenance Mechanics Level I</li> <li>Proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts and drive process, tooling, and equipment enhancements that will improve production efficiency and product quality</li> <li>Perform preventative maintenance and provide input on updates to preventative maintenance schedules</li> <li>Basic understanding of shims (understand shim logs, nominal shim count) and make shim adjustments (with the guidance of a Weld Maintenance Mechanic level III or Manufacturing Engineer)</li> </ul> <p><strong>When and Where:<br></strong>This will be a <strong>2nd Shift 1:30pm-9:30pm Mon-Fri</strong> position located at our Plant in <strong>Spartanburg, SC</strong>. </p> <p>Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines or urgent requests.</p> <p><strong>What You Need to Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED)</li> <li><span data-teams="true">Ability to read, write, speak, and u ...
