Builds and re-builds equipment for various manufacturing needs.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Follow specified maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair production machinery and tools.</li> <li>Utilize Plex to document appropriate downtime codes.</li> <li>Ability to complete all tasks required of a Press Maintenance Mechanic I.</li> <li>Ability to mechanically and electrically troubleshoot issues using a meter.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of press operation and functionality.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of lubrication systems (operation functionality).</li> <li>Knowledge of bearing/motor life (lubrication, how to tell when bearing needs lube, if there is too much lubrication, not enough, etc.).</li> <li>Ability to repair/replace/troubleshoot press mechanical components (with guidance from press maintenance mechanic level III).</li> <li>Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints for troubleshooting.</li> <li>Advanced troubleshooting skillset when working on mechanical issues.</li> <li>Basic troubleshooting skillset when working on electrical issues.</li> <li>Troubleshoot, isolate and repair manufacturing machinery equipment.</li> <li>Use the following equipment safely: Hand Tools, Hand and Surface Grinders, Wheel Puller, Torches, Pipe Threader, Hydraulic Jack, Welders, Scissor Lift, Boom lift, Lathe, Forklift, Milling Machine, Drill Presses, and Basic Rigging knowledge.</li> <li>Provide coaching and direction to Press Maintenance Mechanics level I.</li> <li>Help develop specific maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair production equipment and tools.</li> <li>Proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts and drive process, tooling, and equipment enhancements that will improve production efficiency and product quality.</li> <li>Complete and manage work orders via the Plex systems.</li> <li>Perform preventative maintenance and provide input on updates to preventative maintenance schedules.</li> </ul> <p><strong>When and Where:</strong></p> <p>This will be a <strong>1st Shift / 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM</strong> <strong>M-F</strong> position located at our Plant in <strong>Cusseta, AL</strong>. </p> <p>Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests. </p> <p><strong>What You Need to Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED (required).</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effecti ...
