Being part of an ESOP means our employee-owners share in Challenge’s success!</p> <p>Challenge is <em>#QualityDriven and #PeoplePowered!</em></p></div><p><strong>Who We Want:</strong></p> <p>Repair parts/components that are non-conforming to customer specification by welding, grinding, or other methods as required.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Operate a spot-welding machine to join or repair sheet metal/steel parts or components</li> <li>Calibrate welding equipment</li> <li>Maintain tools in good working order</li> <li>Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures</li> <li>Tag parts</li> <li>Move parts to correct location in the plant/facility</li> <li>Participate in preventative actions where appropriate</li> <li>Utilization of plexus (ERP system)</li> <li>Conduct housekeeping for personal work area or shared facility space</li> <li>Maintain welding equipment</li> </ul> <p><strong>When and Where: </strong></p> <p>This will be a 3rd Shift / Mon - Thurs from 7:30pm - 6:00am with some Friday's position located at our plant in Cusseta, AL </p> <p>Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests. </p> <p><strong>What You Need to Have: </strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or equivalent</li> <li><span data-teams="true">Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.</span></li> <li>3-5 years in relevant work experience</li> <li>Certified in MIG and/or TIG welding</li> <li>Has high standards of performance for self. Takes responsibility for actions, results, and mistakes. Is thorough, accurate, and reliable when performing and completing job tasks; demonstrates honesty and integrity in all aspects of work.</li> <li>Able to be self-motivated and prioritize tasks as assigned</li> <li>Takes positive action to objectively resolve conflict by listening, staying focused on issue to find resolution, and monitoring progress. Maintains positive relationships by constructively resolving conflicts.</li> <li>Uses feedback from others to continuously improve performance and work relationships.</li> <li>Moves within own and/or other work areas (flexes) to support plant flow.
