You’ll build tools, pipelines, and rendering solutions that empower artists to create beautiful, efficient, and scalable content in Unreal Engine.</p> <h3><strong>In this role, you will</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Oversee a team of dedicated tools and performance-oriented tech artists, maintaining scheduling, tasking priority, and facilitating communication with various departments.</li> <li>Lead teams to develop new tools/processes for finding optimization opportunities and actioning on them within a continuously growing content library and code base</li> <li>Driving complex initiatives based on emerging performance, tooling, and development needs</li> <li>Create new paradigms for budgeting content to support diverse game modes and platforms.</li> <li>Plan and execute tools to support artist workflows in Unreal Engine 5</li> <li>Advise and demonstrate proper rendering techniques to bring visual parity across all platforms in an affordable way. Includes in-depth knowledge of rendering pipelines, material creation, lighting, and post-processing</li> <li>Work closely with engineering and art owners of many different parts of the ecosystem to promote collaboration and reduce duplicate work</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What we're looking for</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Proven experience leading or directing technical art for real-time projects across multi-platform pipelines</li> <li>Deep understanding of Unreal Engine’s rendering pipeline, materials, and profiling tools</li> <li>Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines</li> <li>Ability to mentor and grow technical art teams, fostering both creative and technical excellence</li> <li>Experienced in programming theory and scripting (i.e., Python)</li> <li>Experience not only in the analysis of profiling data (i.e., PIX, Insights), but also proactive in capturing performance data to find optimization opportunities and gains</li> </ul> <h2>EPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFE</h2> <p><span data-sheets-userformat="{"2":13201,"3":{"1":0},"7":{"1":[{"1":2,"2":0,"5":{"1":2,"2":13421772}},{"1":0,"2":0,"3":3},{"1":1,"2":0,"4":1}]},"10":0,"11":4,"12":0,"15":"Roboto","16":10}">Our intent is to cover all things that are medically necessary and improve the quality of life.
