We’re always improving on the tools and technology that empower content developers worldwide.</p> <h3><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h3> <p>We’re looking for an experienced Senior Platform Programmer to own the stability of multiple games across Epic. You will have a critical role in identifying and preventing live issues across all platforms, including PC, consoles, and mobile.</p> <h3><strong>In this role, you will</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Analyze and optimize both memory and performance in systems that have to scale from high-end to mobile systems.</li> <li>Ensure the technical approach being proposed for a given feature satisfies both the surface-level and deeper programming-specific requirements.</li> <li>Propose and develop system changes needed to support reliability and work with game teams to integrate these changes.</li> <li>Build tools to automate and validate performance in systems that are performance-critical</li> <li>Be a primary hub for communication and information that other disciplines can come to for guidance.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What we're looking for</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience developing games professionally and shipping AAA titles</li> <li>A keen analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills</li> <li>Strong C++ skills and the ability to code and create game systems and tools</li> <li>Familiarity with scripting systems like Blueprint, Lua, Python, etc.</li> <li>Console experience and mobile experience is preferred</li> <li>Performance profiling and optimization experience</li> <li>Experience with Unreal Engine is highly preferred</li> <li>Experience working on a live service game is preferred</li> </ul> <h2>EPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFE</h2> <p><span data-sheets-userformat="{"2":13201,"3":{"1":0},"7":{"1":[{"1":2,"2":0,"5":{"1":2,"2":13421772}},{"1":0,"2":0,"3":3},{"1":1,"2":0,"4":1}]},"10":0,"11":4,"12":0,"15":"Roboto","16":10}">We pay 100% for benefits for both employees and dependents and offer coverage for supplemental medical, dental, vision, critical illness, telemedicine, Life and ADD, long term disability insurance as well as weekly indemnity (short term disability) and a retirement savings plan with a competitive employer match.
