By fusing robotics, sensor networks, and advanced software, we create connected mesh ecosystems that empower our military partners with a comprehensive source of truth for rapid decision-making. Our Mission Command group is at the forefront of delivering software solutions that integrate seamlessly with hundreds of thousands of endpoints worldwide, ensuring operational superiority on a global scale.<br><br><strong>ABOUT THE JOB</strong><br><br>As the Chief Engineer, you will lead end-to-end efforts for a high-stakes, mission-critical project across the European Theatre. You will head a technical team charged with developing and implementing a "mesh of meshes" that integrates fractured C2 systems, enables DDIL-resistant capabilities, and delivers mission autonomy at both the product and sector C2 levels.</p> <h4><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Primary technical counter-part to 4-star US Army Europe Chief Technology Officer</li> <li>Lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that integrate diverse command and control (C2) systems to ensure robust and resilient communications across US, NATO and European country networks and systems.</li> <li>High impact work with hardware, product, design, and other teams to build a best-in-class solution that safeguards the users and delivers operational excellence for a 4-star command on their highest priority effort with operational efficacy.</li> <li>High visibility opportunity to lead across Anduril teams and creating solutions from across multiple Anduril business lines to create a holistic solution for Europe, leveraging the full breadth of Anduril’s capabilities.</li> <li>Contribute to product vision and roadmap formulation through an in-depth understanding of customer requirements and deployment/sustainment pain points, ensuring real-world challenges shape our innovations.</li> <li>Own technical product and programmatic success across the European Theatre, ensuring delivered solutions meet both operational and strategic objectives.</li> <li>Mentor and develop the next generation of engineering leaders, equipping them to manage and own country/sub-region priorities and programs effectively.</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Our ideal candidate will be located in Germany but we will consider candidates in Europe who are eligible to work in this location and can travel to Germany and or other locations up to 50% of the time.</li> <li>Bachelor’s of Science, Masters or PhD in an engineering field</li> <li>Proven experience in leading complex systems engineering initiatives, preferably in a defense or mission-critical technology environment.</li> <li>Extensive understanding of mesh networking, C2 systems, and resilient communications in challenged operational contexts.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse technical and non-technical teams.</li> <li>Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talen ...
