<p>The Design Team leads Anduril’s brand identity, visual communication, concept art, and industrial design. Our team’s purpose is to connect the mission, people, and products to elevate the Anduril brand.</p>
<h3>ABOUT THE JOB</h3>
<p>Anduril’s Design Team is seeking a Strategic Design Operations Manager to join our team. You will join the centralized design function to drive strategic objectives and operationalize Anduril Design initiatives. You will be a key partner to the VP of Design. The ideal candidate will have experience defining and executing sustainable programs and operations. If you are a team player who is passionate about the creative process and driving design work forward, then this role is for you.</p>
<h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4>
<ul>
<li>Partner with VP of Design as thought partner and executional lead</li>
<li>Identify forward-thinking initiatives and strategic frameworks for each discipline</li>
<li>Facilitate team rituals including design critiques and updates</li>
<li>Collaborate with functional leaders to align on key topics and craft exec-level presentations, narratives, and emails</li>
<li>Support planning and execution of design programs and organizational evolution of team</li>
<li>Proactively communicate program status, risks, and schedules</li>
<li>Develop, maintain, and distribute program documentation</li>
<li>Advocate for new tools, best practices, and stay ahead of design trends</li>
<li>Collaborate with Creative Operations leads to build quarterly and annual plans and capture KPIs</li>
</ul>
<h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 5 years in industry or agency environment</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience scaling operations for a critical business unit</li>
<li>Experience working with creative teams across disciplines with deep understanding of creative approach and design processes</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to frame complex challenges</li>
<li>Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment</li>
<li>A team player who is highly collaborative with the ability to execute projects with care and clarity</li>
<li>Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including PowerPoint, Outlook</li>
<li>Deep attention to detail</li>
<li>Must work on-site in Costa Mesa, Ca</li>
<li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities</li>
</ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$146,000</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$194,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
