Our projects often require close collaboration with engineering teams and have mission-critical lead times. Our shop spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and highly skilled talent to ensure successful outcomes. We specialize in low-volume, prototype, and development work. <br><br><strong>ABOUT THE JOB<br><br></strong><br>We are looking for a CNC Programmer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for project ownership and programming, but also set-up and operation of 5-axis CNC machines as needed.<br><br><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.</li> <li>Program, set up, and operate CNC multi-axis milling and turning machines.</li> <li>Design, spec out, and implement various work holding and fixture methods.</li> <li>Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments during the manufacturing process.</li> <li>Perform quality control checks during and at the completion of the manufacturing process.</li> </ul> <p><br><br><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as a programmer using CAM software such as Esprit or hyperMill (willing to train).</li> <li>5+ years of experience as a machine setup/operator.</li> <li>Clear understanding of G and M code.</li> <li>High level of familiarity with multi-axis and 3D machining.</li> <li>Experience with 5-axis milling, live tooling lathes, mill-turns, and/or multi-task machines.</li> <li>Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Brother controls.</li> <li>High level of familiarity with various alloys, metals, and plastics.</li> <li>High level of tooling and fixture experience.</li> <li>High level of GDT knowledge.</li> <li>Ability to take ownership of the entire manufacturing process from start to finish.</li> <li>Ability to adapt between RD and short production.</li> <li>Ability to multi-task.</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.</li> <li>U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Esprit or hyperMill CAM experience.</li> <li>Experience with 5-axis simultaneous programming.</li> <li>Experience with Siemens NX CAD (Teamcenter).</ ...
