In this role, you will be responsible for Programming set-up and operation experience of 5 axis CNC machines. <br><br></p> <h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <p> </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Reading and interpreting technical blueprints.</li> <li>Set-up/operation of CNC multi-axis milling and multi-axis turning machines.</li> <li>Setup various work holding and fixture methods according to a setup sheet.</li> <li>Run and prove out new programs.</li> <li>Troubleshoot issues and make minor adjustments during the manufacturing process.</li> <li>Perform quality control both during and at completion of the manufacturing process.</li> <li>Help clean and maintain CNC equipment.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <p> </p> <ul> <li>4+ years experience as a machine setup/operator.</li> <li><em>Clear understanding of G and M code. (p2.5)</em></li> <li>Intermediate level of familiarity with multi-axis and 3D machining.</li> <li><em>Experience with 3+1 / 3+2 axis milling, live tooling lathes, mill-turns and/or multi task machines. (p1)</em></li> <li><em>Experience with Fanuc, Siemens or Brother controls. (p2)</em></li> <li><em>Intermediate level of familiarity with various alloys, metals, plastics, etc. (p3)</em></li> <li>Intermediate level of tooling and fixture experience.</li> <li>Intermediate level of GDT knowledge.</li> <li>Ability to take ownership of set-up and operation process from start to finish.</li> <li>Ability to adapt between RD and short production.</li> <li>Ability to multi-task.</li> <li>U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h4>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <p> </p> <ul> <li>5-axis simultaneous set-up and operation experience.</li> <li>Experienced with navigating a CAD model to measure dimensions.</li> <li>Water Jet experience</li> <li>3D printing experience (FDM/SLA)</li> <li>CMM experience (PC-DIMIS)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Hourly Range </div><div class="pay-range"><span>$43</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$54.80 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
