<p>Air Dominance Strike (ADS) is responsible for autonomous robotics systems like the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda family of advanced effects. The ADS Vehicle Software team is responsible for the software running on these systems. Our software engineers collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop software for vehicle control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry. We are looking for engineers excited to build the foundational vehicle software stack that supports the wide range of ADS initiatives, from early concept simulation to first flight to live operations to large scale fleet management.</p>
<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience</li>
<li>4+ years of experience in software development</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of C++ and Python</li>
<li>Basic familiarity with networking concepts (IP/TCP/UDP etc.)</li>
<li>Solid knowledge of software development and a test forward mindset</li>
<li>Ability to travel ~10% of the time to test sites</li>
<li>Desire to work cross functionally with test evaluation teams, data pipeline SMEs, software engineering teams, and mission autonomy vendors</li>
<li>Ability to take ambiguous, open-ended problems and collaboratively drive solutions</li>
<li>Experience weighing trade-offs between performance, efficiency, and data artifact size or similar in any computing capacity</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS —</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with data pipelines/ETL and specific observability tools like Grafana, Vector, Prometheus, or similar</li>
<li>Experience mutating data between different data formats for efficient processing</li>
<li>Experience developing software based off hardware Interface Control Documents</li>
<li>Experience with Nix</li>
<li>Familiarity with deploying software to simulation environments</li>
