ABOUT THE TEAM
The Air Dominance and Strike division operates at the cutting edge of autonomous air vehicle development, delivering hardware and software to customers in support of a wide range of military missions.
The Autonomous Airpower Growth Team, within Air Dominance and Strike, is responsible for identifying, shaping, capturing, and growing new opportunities for the company. Growth team members work with customers and Anduril engineers to identify creative solutions to complex operational challenges. They both shape and reflect customer priorities, while serving as the Anduril brand ambassador externally. The growth team thrives in a highly dynamic environment where problem solving, collaboration, and determination are a way of life.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Autonomous Airpower Business Line is looking for a high initiative, collaborative individual to join the team as the Director, Autonomous Airpower Science and Technology Growth . This person will be responsible for driving and shaping growth opportunities associated with the Science and Technology community, across the Department of War. This role will be pivotal to enabling the development, maturation, and integration of cutting edge technologies that enable the next generation of autonomous aircraft.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Identify, shape and capture new opportunities within the Defense ST community
Develop strong relationships and partnerships within the ST community including Service labs, research institutions and industry
Collaborate with technical teams to develop technical roadmaps for new and existing capabilities within Autonomous Airpower
Support execution of engagement campaigns with key stakeholders across DoW and Capitol Hill related to capture efforts
Assist customers in addressing their operational requirements and capability gaps with current or proposed Anduril solutions
Develop and maintain close, trusted partner relationships with offices of senior military and civilian US Government customers, current and prospective customers, as well as industry partners and suppliers
Foster a culture of trust, innovation, collaboration, and mission focus
Deliver on financial performance commitments and strategic market growth
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 10 years experience in the defense sector
Prior experience working with Service ST labs, program offices, and resource sponsors; strong understanding of the ST customer community and aviation technology roadmaps
Strong understanding of development methodologies for new and innovative technologies
Experience working with classified and/or special access programs
Excellent writing, communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and customers
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Operational or military acquisitions professional experience aligned to tactical aircraft
Program management experience aligned to DARPA, AFRL, DAF RCO, and/or SAF/AQ programs
Advanced technical degree
High sense of personal ownership and is able to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, and creative environment
