As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.</p></div><p><strong>As an Engineering Operations Lead, you will work directly with the Hardware Engineering Leadership team to build and run business operations across the Hardware Engineering Organization and cross functional partners.</strong> The Hardware Engineering organization is the central engineering organization across Anduril that upholds the bar of engineering excellence, provides core engineering services, and develops strategic core technology products for hardware development across Anduril. In this role, you will partner with hardware engineering org leadership and teams from across the organization and company — spanning our business lines and divisions to our Finance and GA teams to our core internal operations teams — to unpack ambiguous problems and build lasting, scalable solutions. Your work will vary from quick-turn operational fire-fighting, building and redesigning processes, to leading high-impact strategic projects. Your role and team will enable and provide operational leverage to the engineering organization that underpins and differentiates Anduril as the next generation defense prime.</p>
<h2>Here’s what you’ll do:</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>Collaborate Cross-Functionally</strong>: Work with business line operation teams, finance, talent acquisition, strategic real estate, central business operations, and facilities to unpack ambiguous problems and redesign processes.</li>
<ul>
<li><strong>Manage operations for the full FTE lifecycle</strong>: From program demand intake, headcount growth, recruiting operations partnership, new hire onboarding, staffing assignments, to deliverable analysis and labor metric report-out (actuals vs. Op Plan vs. staffing platform).</li>
<li><strong>Facilitate operations for the space resourcing lifecycle</strong>: Enable the strategic growth and usage of workspaces and facilities for FTE growth and laboratory needs, and track platform and business line utilization of shared equipment and square footage.</li>
</ul>
<li><strong>Partner with Hardware Engineering Leadership</strong>: Execute strategic initiatives for organizational development like defining and tracking metrics related to organizational health, service performance, team growth, and annual goals.</li>
<ul>
<li><strong>Synthesize large datasets</strong>: Define KPIs and create leadership report-outs for Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Leadership Meetings with Division Leads and C-Suite.</li>
<li><strong>Maintain and Improve HW Engineering hosted company engagements</strong>: Lead recurring engineering discussions including Lunch and Learns, Quarterly Division All Hands, IEEE societies, ASME societies, and Engineering Leads meetings.</li>
</ul>
<li><strong>Support and Develop Internal Processes</strong>: Work with Engineering Leads to develop processes/frameworks for org growth/talent acquisition, demand planning, staffing, employee mobility, seating/facilities, strategic real estate growth (workspaces and labs), and organization communications.</li>
