This role will ensure the facility and employees are compliant with all applicable state and environmental standards.</p> <h2><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Assist in all environmental permitting and testing efforts</li> <li>Coordinate with and serve as the main point of contact for local, state, and federal regulatory agencies (i.e. DEQ, EPA)</li> <li>Establish and maintain compliance with the EPA’s RMP program</li> <li>Develop, manage, and update air quality permits (e.g., Title V, PSD, NSR)</li> <li>Conduct emissions calculations and reporting (e.g., greenhouse gases, VOCs, HAPs)</li> <li>Ensure compliance with Clean Air Act (CAA) requirements and other applicable regulations</li> <li>Prepare and submit required reports (e.g., TRI, Tier II, annual emissions inventories)</li> <li>Establish and maintain adherence to waste management protocols</li> <li>Oversee hazardous waste permitting and ensure compliance with RCRA requirements</li> <li>Manage hazardous waste disposal and tracking processes</li> <li>Conduct waste characterization and implement waste minimization programs</li> <li>Develop environmental safety policies, procedures, and training</li> <li>Assist with environmental and safety compliance audits and follow through with corrective actions</li> <li>Maintain accurate records for permits, waste management, and compliance activities</li> <li>Compile data and generate reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies Perform other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <h2><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management, with a focus on air and hazardous waste permitting</li> <li>Expertise in federal, state, and local environmental regulations (e.g., CAA, RCRA, CERCLA)</li> <li>Familiarity with permitting processes, emissions modeling, and environmental compliance software</li> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Experience using Microsoft applications</li> <li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities</li> </ul> <h2><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience working at a PSM/RMP regulated facility</li> <li>Experience working in an aerospace and/or energetics manufacturing facility</li> <li>Experience with EPA, OSHA, DEQ, and ISO 14001 and/or 45001</li> <li>Knowledge of pollution control technologies and sustainability practices</li> <li>Professional certifications (e.g., CHMM, QEP, PE) are a plus</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$99,000</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$131,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an ...
