The team is looking for a Firmware Engineer to lead the architecture, standardization, and development of new capabilities all the way from conceptualization to production. We are interested in candidates that are excited to build Anduril's next generation of imaging products from the ground up.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <ul> <li>Design firmware for embedded hardware, from concept to functional prototype, board bring-up, and system level integration</li> <li data-uuid="6fd67f49-c3da-472d-8ac7-cbdcae53fe3f">Write C/C++ for ARM processers in modern FPGAs, SoCs, and SoMs</li> <li>Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and basic software debugging tools</li> <li>Work closely with hardware and software engineers for component selection, troubleshooting, and product support</li> <li>Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products</li> <li>Develop firmware across multiple products at various stages of their development cycle</li> </ul> </ul> <h4><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h4> <ul> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent</li> <li>5+ years of experience developing firmware for for embedded processors using C/C++</li> <li>Experience with configuration control system like (eg Git , Github etc..)</li> <li>Experience with testing, supporting, and troubleshooting complex hardware, embedded systems, and products</li> <li>Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests</li> <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance</li> </ul> </ul> <h4><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS </strong></h4> <ul> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience FPGA devices</li> <li>Demonstrated experience designing for common communication busses like SPI, I2C, CAN</li> <li>Embedded software development experience with the use of timers and interrupts</li> <li>Experience with developing HDL firmware for Xilinx FPGA devices and embedded real-time systems with C/C++</li> <li>Experience with component selection, schematic capture, high speed board design, and PCB layout</li> <li>Knowledge of embedded Linux development, including device trees, hardware drivers, bootloaders, and basic Unix/Linux tools</li> <li>Familiar with common programming languages like Python and MATLAB</li> <li>Familiarity with infrared image sensor technology</li> </ul> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$166,000</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$220,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
