<h3>ABOUT THE JOB</h3>
<p>We are looking for a Manufacturing Test Specialist to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of optical, mechanical, and electrical components, as well as maintaining and sustaining test equipment. This position requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, precision soldering, wire harness assembly, and the effective use of hand and power tools such as pliers, torque wrenches, and calipers, along with defining standard operating procedures. Familiarity with diagnostic equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes) for calibration and testing, plus strict adherence to ESD protocols and quality standards, is essential. If you are a highly motivated team player who supports a fast-paced team environment and is a detail-oriented self-starter with minimal oversight, then this role is for you. This position is based in Costa Mesa, CA, and requires up to 50% travel to San Jose, CA; Seattle, WA; and Denver, CO.</p>
<h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4>
<ul>
<li>Follow detailed blueprints and schematics to assemble EagleEye AR headset optical components and displays.</li>
<li>Use hand and power tools for building, calibrating, and maintaining equipment.</li>
<li>Interpret equipment test results and support the validation of test processes in collaboration with integrators.</li>
<li>Draft and provide feedback on test procedures while performing root cause analysis on manufacturing issues.</li>
<li>Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, calibration services, and test results.</li>
<li>Ensure system integration compatibility and adherence to safety protocols.</li>
</ul>
<h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4>
<ul>
<li><strong>Manufacturing Experience:</strong> 4+ years in a manufacturing setting (aerospace, electronics, or medical industry) performing mechanical and electrical assemblies.</li>
<li><strong>Electromechanical Skills:</strong> Proven experience in electromechanical assembly and testing, including PCBA/CCA handling and assembly.</li>
<li><strong>Tool Proficiency:</strong> Skilled with hand and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, multimeters, and specialized test equipment.</li>
<li><strong>Assembly Fastening:</strong> Expertise in torquing and fastening processes, harness installations, and fixture installation.</li>
<li><strong>Technical Documentation:</strong> Ability to read wiring diagrams, follow detailed assembly instructions, load software, and perform software checks.</li>
