In this role, you will collaborate with engineers in a cleanroom environment to handle and test silicon wafers, wire bond image sensors into ceramic packages, and perform visual and electrical inspections of sensor chip assemblies. Your expertise will be essential in operating custom test equipment to collect image data. </span></p> <h4 id="MircoelectronicsTechnician-WHATYOU’LLDO:"><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Work with engineers to package, test and assemble custom infrared image sensors in a clean room environment.</li> <li>Handle and test silicon wafers in automated probe test station.</li> <li>Handle, mount, and wirebond image sensors into custom ceramic packages using a wire ball bonder.</li> <li>Visual and electrical inspection of fully packaged sensor chip assemblies (SCAs).</li> <li>SCA installation into liquid nitrogen high vacuum test station.</li> <li>Majority of the tasks will be done inside our cleanroom.</li> <li>Operate custom test equipment to collect image data using automated tools.</li> </ul> <h4 id="MircoelectronicsTechnician-REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS:"><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Experience working with precision test and measurement equipment for development or production hardware.</li> <li>Experience collecting data from devices under test (DUTs) using test and inspection equipment.</li> <li>Experience working with delicate hardware such as microelectronics assemblies and performing ultra fine motor skill tasks.</li> <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance</li> </ul> <h4 id="MircoelectronicsTechnician-PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:"><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Prior experience working within a clean room environment.</li> <li>Experience with microelectronics packaging such as wirebonders.</li> <li>Experience with electrical cabling assemblies, soldering, crimping and debug.</li> <li>Proficiency with SolidWorks and scripting/automation languages (MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW).</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$86,000</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$114,000 USD</span></div></div><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Hourly Range </div><div class="pay-range"><span>$41</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$54 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
