As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.</p></div><p>We are seeking a mid-level <strong>Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer</strong> to join our team.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE TEAM</strong></p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Develop cutting-edge simulation tools that model battlefield vehicles to assess performance and integration in complex mission scenarios.</li> <li>Create interactive tools that facilitate human interaction with these simulations.</li> </ul> <p>The ideal candidate has experience working on aerospace systems and understands the right fidelity of system level modeling required to model large scale, many-on-many missions. The role requires the individual to be proficient in vehicle/sub-system modeling and well-versed in coding practices and software integration practices. If you have a passion for flight and like the idea of building a physics based digital representation of air vehicles and payloads, this is the role for you!</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work on challenging problems in a fast-paced environment across our portfolio of programs and products.</li> <li>Develop our Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MSA) framework to support mission-level concept exploration, tactics development, autonomous behaviors, and Software-in-the-Loop (SITL) product development.</li> <li>Develop simulation models for sensors, comms, movement, tactical behaviors, weapon effects, electronic effects, command and control, and others.</li> <li>Partner with Operations Analysis team members to deliver simulations capabilities that enable efficient Monte Carlo and Design of Experiments analysis.</li> <li>Partner with capability teams like Mission Autonomy to deliver simulation capabilities to help accelerate development.</li> <li>Work with multi-disciplinary subject matter experts to understand and adequately model pertinent sub-system, system and system of system dynamics.</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Senior Modeling Simulation Engineer</strong>: 8 or more years of experience in Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis engineering or related technical experience</li> <li><strong>Modeling Simulation Engineer</strong>: 3 or more years of experience in Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis engineering or related technical experience</li> <li>Proficient with C++</li> <li>Working experience with Python</li> <li>Experience with aerospace/aeronautical systems (including fixed wing, rockets, satellites, rotorcraft, etc.) and/or subsea vehicles.</li> <li>Experience in flight dynamics/platform physics and control</li> <li>Experience with high performance and multi-threaded programming</li> <li>Demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn outside of core discipline</li> <li>U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Advanced proficiency with C++</li> <li>Experience with Python</li> <li>Experience with developing sub-system and system level models (air vehicles, ground vehicles, ground-based sensors and other types of complex systems)</li> <li>Experience working with/developing multi-system mission level simulations in one or more domains (subsurface, su ...
