Anduril has brought to market a unique, long-range maritime vehicle leveraging a flexible manufacturing architecture that scales from "large" to "extra-large" vehicle sizes. Today, Anduril is executing on existing contracts while simultaneously developing future capability across its product range.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our growing team in Sydney. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge technology advancing subsea robotics and play a key role in delivering our AUVs to our customers. Working in a multi-disciplinary environment to scale our AUV production system, this role will involve assembling complex electro-mechanical assemblies and integrating them into the final product to be ready for service!</p> <h3>WHAT YOU'LL DO</h3> <ul> <ul> <li>Build, test, and integrate complex mechanical assemblies into our world class products</li> <li>Build test and manufacturing facilities, provide input to processes and practices</li> <li>Fabricate manufacturing jigs, fixtures and equipment to improve build efficiency</li> <li>Provide direct input and feedback to the engineering team on DFM/A</li> <li>Interact with digital ERP system for work order tracking, inventory management, and quality reporting</li> </ul> </ul> <h3>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h3> <ul> <ul> <li>3+ years experience in technician roles having worked in a similar environment (Automotive, Aircraft, Maritime, etc.)</li> <li>Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation (mechanical drawings, work instructions.</li> <li>Part fabrication skills including plastic/metal machining and additive manufacturing</li> <li>Experience performing functional checkouts and tests</li> <li>Competent with risk assessment and hazard mitigation activities including documentation</li> <li>Extremely organized and detail-oriented</li> <li>Excellent verbal written communication skills</li> <li>A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture</li> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance</li> </ul> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
