In this role, you will be responsible for assembly and integration of mechanical and/or electrical components. If you are someone who is a highly motivated team player who is willing to support a fast paced team environment and detail oriented self starter with minimal oversight then this role is for you.<strong><br><br></strong></p> <h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO </h4> <ul> <li>Follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and instructions to assemble products or systems</li> <li>Use various hand tools and power tools to put components together</li> <li>Combine different subsystems or components into a larger, functioning system</li> <li>Ensure compatibility and proper communication between integrated components</li> <li>Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, test results, and any issues encountered</li> <li>Follow safety protocols and procedures in the workplace</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS </h4> <ul> <li>2-4 years working in manufacturing setting (aerospace, electronics, or medical industry is preferred) performing mechanical and/or electrical assemblies</li> <li>Proficient with common hand tools and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, multimeters, test boxes or specialized test equipment</li> <li>Proficient with computer use (standard browser, word processing applications)</li> <li>Working knowledge of common electrical components</li> <li>Able to read a wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions</li> <li>U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data</li> <li>Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment</li> <li>Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production.</li> <li>Possibility for overtime and weekend shifts as needed</li> <li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities</li> </ul> <h4>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience with many aspects of aircraft or ground systems fabrication, repair, assembly, and operation including structural fabrication, integration, composites fabrication, and avionics build/integration/test</li> <li>Mechanically assemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies, high quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and associated components involving hand soldering and component fabrication</li> <li>Perform validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks</li> <li>Experience with common air-frame construction techniques such as rivets, mechanical fasteners, nut plates, etc.</li> <li>Prior hands-on experience with ...
