Anduril has brought to the market a unique, ultra-long-range, full-ocean-depth platform, and a completely refreshed maritime vehicle and flexible manufacturing architecture that scales from "large" to "extra-large" vehicle sizes. Today, Anduril is executing on multi-million-dollar contracts while simultaneously performing Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) AUV operations.</p> <h3>ABOUT THE JOB</h3> <p>We are looking for a Re-Certification Repair Technician to join our growing team in Quonset, RI. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge technology aimed at advancing the state-of-the-possible in subsea robotics. You will play a key role in maintaining and delivering re-certified AUVs to our customers by working hands-on with our engineering team on a multi-disciplinary environment. <br><br></p> <h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <ul> <li>Maintain, troubleshoot, rig and repair Automonus Underwater Vehicle and Sub-Assemblies</li> <li>Fabricate complex wire harnesses, solder electronic modules (including PCBAs), and modify COTS components</li> <li>Fabricate and modify machined parts and COTS components</li> <li>Complete vehicle and equipment documentation</li> <li>Assist with developing checklists and operations for vehicle.</li> <li>Perform configuration tasks to flash/load correct SW/FW versions onto devices.</li> <li>Support management of tools, equipment, and lab supplies (maintenance, calibrations, raw material stock)</li> <li>Contribute to all stages of the vehicle product development and provide feedback to the engineering team</li> <li>Assist with kitting products, as needed</li> <li>Potential of traveling offshore to support our operations team</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>3+ years of relevant experience in a mechanical electronical field (automotive/marine, aerospace, robotics, defense, Avionics)</li> <li>Capable of carrying out detailed electro-mechanical assembly work with tight-tolerance components/enclosures and complex wire routings</li> <li>Experience in preparing and executing test procedures with high levels of attention to detail</li> <li>Experience working off of technical documentation, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings</li> <li>Familiar with simple fabrication processes, basic hand tools, and both plastic/metal part manufacturing</li> <li>Commitment to a high-quality product and strong sense of personal accountability</li> <li>Extremely organized and detail-oriented</li> <li>Excellent verbal written communication skills</li> <li>Has a never-ending sense of urgency and enthusiasm</li> <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance</li> </ul> <h4>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Experience in sub-sea robotics (AUVs, UUVs, underwater equipment)</li> <li>Experience with pressure vessels and/or pressure systems/equipment</li> <li>IPC 610 and/or 620 Certification</li> <li>Prior experience working with JIRA, Teamcenter (PLM), or NetSuite (ERP) or equivalent</li> <li>Holds an Airframe and Powerplant (AP) license or has similar train ...
