<p>Anduril’s Design Team is seeking a Concept Designer to join our team and work directly for and with the Maneuver Dominance team to advance their strategic design goals.<br><br>The Design Team leads Anduril’s brand identity, visual communication, concept art, and industrial design. The Anduril Design Team’s purpose is to connect the mission, people, and products to elevate the Anduril brand. The Maneuver Dominance (MD) Team at Anduril develops aerial robotic systems designed to operate in large, coordinated teams in concert with ground maneuver forces.</p>
<h3>ABOUT THE JOB</h3>
<p>As a Concept Designer for Maneuver Dominance, will be an expert on helping MD design and deploy concepts, illustrate missions and complex narratives, by leveraging 2D/3D visualizations which advance the mission and build client engagement with MD products. The ideal candidate is not only an impeccable artist, but also has outstanding knowledge of mechanical authenticity. If you are passionate about bringing narratives to life and pushing visualization techniques, then this role is for you.</p>
<h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4>
<ul>
<li>Lead mission development work within the Maneuver Dominance division</li>
<li>Visual development of conceptual narratives</li>
<li>Product renderings with photorealistic textures and lighting</li>
<li>2D/3D mission diagrams</li>
<li>Development of visualization techniques and styles within the Design Team</li>
</ul>
<h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 5 years professional experience as a concept artist, 3d generalist, or equivalent in the entertainment or game industry preferred</li>
<li>A portfolio demonstrating ideation, modeling technique and execution, 2D/3D visualization, vehicle and aircraft design</li>
<li>Deep understanding of dimensionality, composition, scale, and form</li>
<li>Strong ability to execute visual concepts and iterate from technical descriptions</li>
<li>Excellent application of material surfacing, and understanding of mechanical function and assembly</li>
<li>Expert knowledge in industry-standard software such as Photoshop, Blender, Maya, 3DS, Modo, Z-brush, Keyshot</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and business development</li>
<li>A reliable self-starter, organized, efficient with attention to detail</li>
<li>A team player who brings a unique sense of aesthetics and passion for bringing concepts to life</li>
<li>Knowledge of general military application and authenticity is a plus</li>
<li>Must work on-site in Costa Mesa, Ca</li>
<li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities</li>
