This role is critical to </span><span>driving accuracy, insight, and control across our development, manufacturing,</span><br><span>and production operations. Reporting to the Manager, Cost Accounting, the </span><span>Senior will ensure consistent and compliant application of Anduril’s standard </span><span>costing methodology and be responsible for detailed transactional and balance</span><br><span>sheet reconciliation review. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical </span><span>competency, strong leadership skills, and a risk-based approach in support of the </span><span>company’s preparation for a potential future IPO.</span></p> <h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <ul> <li><span>Perform and continuously improve standard costing practices to ensure </span><span>accurate product costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting for </span><span>designated product lines and production sites.</span></li> <li><span>Perform work order review, variance analysis, and closure for designated </span><span>product lines and production sites.</span></li> <li><span>Responsible for a portion of the Company’s cost accounting close process, </span><span>including cost roll-ups, variance analysis, absorption reporting, and </span><span>reconciliations of inventory and work-in-process.</span></li> <li><span>Support the adherence to internal controls to strengthen financial accuracy </span><span>and compliance; identify and remediate control deficiencies as needed.</span></li> <li><span>Administer physical and cycle count programs across designated sites, </span><span>ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper valuation of inventory.</span></li> <li><span>Interface directly with external auditors on cost accounting and inventory-</span><span>related matters during the annual financial statement audit.</span></li> <li><span>Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to analyze manufacturing performance, cost drivers, and production efficiency opportunities.</span></li> <li><span>Support pricing, cost proposal, and audit requirements related to U.S. government contracts (FAR/CAS).</span></li> <li><span>Contribute to IPO readiness initiatives, including audit preparation, systems scalability, and establishment of SOX-compliant financial controls.</span></li> <li><span>Support the Manager with preparing insightful cost analyses and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.</span></li> <li><span>Support the Manager with a continuous improvement mindset, prioritizing automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in all financial processes.</span></li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li><span>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or </span><span>CMA preferred.</span></li> <li><span>5-7 years of progressive cost accounting experience in manufacturing.</span></li> <li><span>Proven experience with standard costing in complex, low-volume, high-</span><span>dollar manufacturing environments, with ability to grow into a high-</span><span>volu ...
