<p>The Business Development (BD) team, within Anduril’s Growth organization, is responsible for identifying, shaping, capturing, and growing new opportunities and capabilities for the company. In order to meet current and future client needs, the team must deeply understand the users pain points, how current solutions fail to address existing gaps, and how Anduril products can deliver more effective mission outcomes. BD team members serve as the bridge between clients and the broader Anduril team; they convey client perspectives to other teams across the enterprise while also serving as the Anduril brand ambassador externally. They partner extensively with the Mission Operations team to ensure that Anduril products exceed client expectations and mission demands, and to drive continuous product improvements in response to ever-changing client needs and operating environments.<br><br></p>
<h3>ABOUT THE JOB</h3>
<p>In this role, you will leverage your expertise to develop opportunities with US Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Systems Integrators (SIs), integrating advanced technological capabilities into their systems while navigating US Government acquisition processes. You will apply your subject matter knowledge in sensors, effectors, platform subsystems, command and control, and autonomous systems, to shape requirements and ultimately capture opportunities with US based partners. With a Mission First Mindset, you will prioritize the needs of clients and the warfighter, actively seeking ways to build exceptional products that enhance defense capabilities. You will take ownership of your accounts, collaborating with clients and engineers to shape success, while demonstrating technical aptitude and a commitment to continuous learning. As a structured thinker and problem solver, you will communicate effectively across teams and distill complex issues into actionable plans. Your role will involve fostering teamwork and collaboration, developing rapport with stakeholders at all levels, and embracing your position as a 360 degree leader.</p>
<h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4>
<ul>
<li><strong>Generate and capture business opportunities.</strong> The BD team is ultimately responsible for growing bookings. This is achieved by developing a deep understanding of the existing and prospective customer base, knowing the current or planned programmatic and technical roadmaps, and being cognizant of the competitive landscape. This expertise will inform capture strategies, revenue forecasts, and aid in technology development plans. Tactically, you will develop accounts and manage continuous engagements with current and future customers, generate growth strategies, and monitor buying cycles and US government budgets for opportunities.</li>
<li><strong>Grow existing business</strong>. You will liaise our Mission Operations team, to grow business with current clients. This does not simply include expanding upon current work, but also leveraging existing partnerships to explore new areas of work or opportunities by sustaining and building upon the strong foundation of those client relationships.</li>
