New technologies and adversaries demand a novel approach to battlefield intelligence, and you will be the driving force behind the integration of cutting-edge edge computing technologies that make that a reality. Such systems inherently require both electrical and mechanical components and we are looking for highly skilled engineers to own the design of electromechanical subassemblies on these tightly integrated products. Your work will not only create new products but also help to change the balance of defense capabilities on a global scale.<br><br><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p>

<li>Own the integration of power, control, and harnessing subsystems into finished products</li>
<li>Design hardware including enclosures, electronics packaging, bus bars, and cable assemblies</li>
<li>Deliver conceptual level harness routing schemes and follow best practices to define mounting locations</li>
<li>Partner with electrical and harness engineers to implement and test complex electrical systems</li>
<li>Collaborate daily with a tight-knit product team</li>
<li>Travel to exercises and work alongside warfighters to support our products</li>
<li>Iterate on your designs and work with our manufacturing team to document, build, and deliver them at scale</li>

<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<ul>
<li>Proven track record of past designs integrating electrical components into mechanical assemblies</li>
<li>Experience with cabling design and harness integration on products designed for rugged use</li>
<li>High competence with engineering first principles</li>
<li>5+ years of professional engineering experience</li>
<li>CAD skills and ability to make high quality engineering drawings</li>
<li>BS, M.Eng, MS or PhD in an engineering field</li>
<li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities</li>
</ul>
</ul>
<p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p>
<ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience selecting and integrating ruggedized and MIL-spec connectors (D38999 or similar)</li>
<li>Familiarity with common electrical interfaces (USB, CAN, Ethernet, etc.)</li>
<li>Knowledge of EMI shielding and EMC best practices</li>
<li>Competency with 3D CAD harness routing tools</li>
<li>Understanding of enclosure design and the fundamentals of material options</li>
<li>Well versed in ingress protection standards and how to achieve them</li>
<li>Proficiency with NX/Teamcenter</li>
<li>Active Top Secret Security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one</li>
