ABOUT THE TEAM
At Anduril Australia we are developing un-crewed maritime and air domain systems that leverage unsupervised autonomy for the delivery of long endurance, multi-mission capability to our customers. These projects, including but not limited to the Extra Large Autonomous Undersea Vehicle (XL-AUV) Program.
ABOUT THE JOB We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to join our Anduril Australia team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program/project control (non-EVMS), especially with manufacturing programs, financial modeling, income statement and balance sheet forecasting and analysis, and top-tier financial reporting. You will touch almost every area of the business including engineering, operations, and growth. In this role, you will support multiple projects and programs in parallel and interact closely with the program management and business line leadership to ensure Anduril is delivering on its financial commitments.
You should be comfortable supporting and explaining financial performance and variance analysis at the contract and product level to cross functional teams and senior leadership. This is a critical role in a high-growth division at a company that is constantly growing and changing.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Contract and product profit margin analysis and surveillance
Ownership of rolling monthly program and project forecasts, derived by working in-depth with key engineering stakeholders (Product Managers, Program Managers, Engineering Leads, CAMs)
Monthly distribution of internal management reporting via presentation and written communications
Work with program management to develop and maintain ETC forecasts and EAC integrity
Income statement and balance sheet forecasting by contract and business line
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual variance at multiple accounting levels
Creation of reports and automated dashboards in FPA and ERP tools (Oracle, Anaplan, and Foundry)
Support pricing activities
Ad-hoc support and special products
Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, systems and procedures
Assist in long-range planning
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience as a financial analyst or related finance/accounting role
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
Acute understanding of Financial Systems, data management, and complex modeling
Intellectually curious - you seek to understand the why behind the numbers
Proven ability to work successfully in a team-based environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and presentational skills
Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or relevant professional certification (CPA, CFA) is a plus
Defence and/or Tech industry experience
