The Manufacturing Automation team is responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of automated manufacturing systems across Anduril factories. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to help define what production automation looks like for Anduril at a national scale.</p> </div> </div> <div class="section page-centered"> <div> <h4>WHAT YOU'LL DO</h4> <ul> <li>Develop and implement machine vision for automation systems, quality inspection, defect detection, and process monitoring</li> <li>Specify, procure, validate, and sustain vision system components including cameras, lenses, lighting, controllers, and software</li> <li>Oversee the installation, validation, and commissioning of vision systems in production environments across multiple product lines</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate high-precision inspection systems into production lines and automation systems</li> <li>Lead efforts into RCCA on vision systems and process failures</li> <li>Train production staff on the operation and maintenance of vision systems</li> </ul> </div> </div> <div class="section page-centered"> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar</li> <li>4+ years of experience in developing and maintaining vision systems in a manufacturing environment</li> <li>Demonstrated experience developing vision system platforms (Cognex, Keyence, iRVision, Halcon) and programming languages (Python, C++, OpenCV)</li> <li>Strong understanding of image processing algorithms, optics, and lighting principles</li> <li>Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems including PLC / robot integration</li> <li>Familiarity with advanced defect detection techniques, AI-based vision systems, and SPC methodologies</li> </ul> <h4><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance</li> </ul> </div><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$146,000</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$194,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
