Job Description
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE JOB
Anduril is at the forefront of developing defense technologies which feature layered autonomy and can be produced at scale. To support our rapid development and deployment initiatives, our Anduril Mission Engineering Operations Analysts (AME OA) provide rigorous, data-driven analytical products to guide our business strategy, inform requirements, and investigate concepts of employment.
As an analyst, you will engage directly with internal and external stakeholders to translate their questions into physics-based analyses, often designing experiments using mission-level simulations. You will follow the scientific method and generate clear and compelling analytical artifacts with actionable conclusions. Your analyses will often accompany demonstration events to quantify exactly how Anduril technology delivers mission success to the warfighter.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Employ the scientific method to develop model-driven analysis (and often the models themselves)
Develop a deep understanding of the transformational value of Anduril’s platform, autonomy, simulation, and perception products
Use our advanced internal MS capabilities to give our analyses and asymmetric advantage over competitors
Use exceptional writing and verbal communication to translate complex analytical findings into clear and compelling summaries for both internal program teams and external customers

Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
2+ years of hands-on AFSIM scripting experience (deeper experience highly valued)
Proficiency and love of modeling and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Simulink)
Demonstrated experience in:
Platform MSA - aero, fuel, and signature modeling
Payload MSA - radar, EOIR, communications, or weapons payloads
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in written, visual and spoken form to diverse audiences
A working knowledge of domains such as Offensive/Defensive Counter-Air (OCA/DCA), Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Suppression/Destruction of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD/DEAD), Electronic Attack, or Long Range Fires
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in a relevant Science or Engineering field, or equivalent advanced academic experience (e.g., MS, Ph.D.)
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance
Demonstrated ability to lead and execute an Operations Analysis study from concept to completion, encompassing problem definition, research, model development, data analysis, and report generation
Signal processing experience— for example, track fusion and filtering techniques
Experience with RF propagation modeling, including communications, radar, and electronic warfare (EW) modeling
