We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set. We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers’ most pressing national security requirements.</p> <h3>ABOUT THE JOB</h3> <p>We are seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer specializing in EMI/EMC to join our expanding team in <strong>Santa Ana, CA.</strong> This role focuses on leading EMI/EMC (Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility) test design initiatives for our cutting-edge products. <br><br><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Evaluation of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power designs for EMI/EMC compliance.</li> <li>Work with design teams to establish manufacturing EMC test limits based on development characterization tests.</li> <li>Conduct tests to assess electromagnetic emissions and susceptibility performance.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve EMI/EMC performance issues at the component level.</li> <li>Work in a fast-paced environment, having to juggle multiple concurrent projects and customers.</li> <li>Stay updated on military and aerospace EMI/EMC standards (MIL-STD-461, DO-160, MIL-STD-704)</li> <li>Ability to generate requirements and work cross functionally with Mechanical, Thermal, Validation engineers</li> <li>Factory and manufacturing support from a design, DfX, quality, debug, and failure analysis perspective</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>8+ years of professional experience in designing hardware products for EMI/EMC compliance.</li> <li>Knowledge of EMI/EMC Test Equipment such as spectrum analyzers, antennas, LISN, NF Probes, GTEM Anechoic Chamber etc.</li> <li>Knowledgeable with analog and digital circuit design and PCB Layout techniques to meet mechanical, electrical, EMI/EMC, and manufacturing requirements.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each design.</li> <li>Ability to design / edit test automation software such as LabVIEW using multiple architectures</li> <li>Familiarity with standard interfaces such as MIPI, DP, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB, etc.</li> <li>Familiarity with common MCU, CPU, SOC devices and technologies.</li> <li>Ability to determine work priorities based on broad direction from management.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.</li> <li>Ability to work within our company and team culture.</li> <li>Active U.S. Secret security clearance</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$146,000</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$194,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
