We live in a world where security officers are increasingly overwhelmed by sensor data feeds. Our products leverage advanced sensor fusion and autonomy to seamlessly render activity in the environment to Lattice's common operating picture. <br><br>Our Product:<br><a href="https://www.anduril.com/land/counter-intrusion">https://www.anduril.com/land/counter-intrusion</a> </p> <h3><strong>ABOUT THE JOB</strong></h3> <p>We are looking for a Senior Mechatronics Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Irvine. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining software for current and next generation Sentry Tower systems. This will include interacting with stakeholders like Anduril's business lines of Air Defense and Counter Intrusion all the way from internal engineering customers to the people in the field. Prioritizing what is important to create an excellent experience for them in the long run. If you are someone who is driven by a “Whatever It Takes” mindset - then this role is for you.</p> <h4>WHAT YOU'LL DO</h4> <p>Own feature development and rollout for our products - recent examples include: building a Software-in-the-Loop simulator for our Tower product, writing an autofocus control system for cameras, creating a distributed over IPC coordinate frame library, redesigning the Pan-Tilt controls to accurately move heavy loads</p> <ul> <li>Design, evaluate, and implement sensor integrations that support operation by both human and autonomous planning agents</li> <li>Be responsible for service ownership, ensuring functionality, reliability, and alignment with customer objectives</li> <li>Submit well-documented, tested pull requests addressing TSW's critical issues</li> </ul> <h4><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.</li> <li>Proficiency in full robotics system stack, from integrating sensor technology to robotic movement actuation. Partial stack is okay.</li> <li>6+ years working with C++.</li> <li>Experience developing software for hardware.</li> <li>Ability to closely collaborate with engineers from various non software engineering disciplines.</li> <li>Solid grasp of motor control, low level communications (CAN, UART, SPI, etc), and real time systems.</li> <li>Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Experience working on modeling and controls in Matlab.</li> <li>Experience developing tooling in Python.</li> <li>Experience working with firmware in C.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$191,000</span><span class="divider"></span><span>$287,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary ...
