We develop and build <a href="https://defensescoop.com/2024/02/13/air-force-cca-two-vendors/">collaborative combat aircraft</a>, missiles, and the software that powers these autonomous weapons. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead Test Evaluation (TE) program management across various development phases to own integration system check outs, ground testing, taxi testing, and flight operations. As a TPM, you will lead through influence, partnering with the TE IPT and other partner teams to manage and drive execution of all TE deliverables to the program on schedule and on cost. <br><br><strong>ABOUT THE JOB</strong><br><br>We are hiring a Technical Program Manager to manage our work streams as we design, procure, manufacture, and test cutting-edge autonomous aircraft. This TPM will support the TE IPT working to track and coordinate schedule and hand-offs of test evaluation activity (integration, system check-outs, ground testing, taxi testing, and path leading to flight across all program tail numbers) and communicate status to leadership. Identify and implement process improvement efforts to delivery the right information to the right people at the right time. In this pivotal role, you will analyze and provide data-driven recommendations that balance the needs of technical teams with overall program objectives. You will foster collaboration and ensure alignment among team members on a common path forward, addressing any points of contention and building consensus. The ideal candidate will possess sound judgment, strong leadership skills, humility, and the ability to influence strategically. <br><br><br><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Own Program Execution: </strong> Proactively drive successful outcomes rather than just reporting on them</li> <li><strong>Timeline and Schedule Management</strong>: Analyze requirements, resources, and dependencies, to create and rally the team around a reliable timeline and schedule</li> <li><strong>Progress Tracking and Reporting</strong>: Monitor progress towards organizational goals and milestones, facilitating team collaboration and ensuring clear communication of program status to stakeholders</li> <li><strong>Risk Management</strong>: Proactively identify and address program risks related to schedule, cost, and resources</li> <li><strong>Dependency Mapping</strong>: Identify critical dependencies impacting program deliverables and ensure roadblocks cleared</li> <li><strong>Resource Management</strong>: Pinpoint resource gaps and coordinate cross-functional planning for resource allocation, including headcount, budget, and workspace needs, while optimizing resource utilization to meet program and departmental objectives</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution</li> <li>4+ years of experience working on a complex technical project as a program manager or engineer</li> <li>Evidence managing programs, building sustainable proces ...
