The Rocket Motor Systems team designs, develops, and manufactures next-generation solid rocket motors for defense and space applications at Anduril.<br><br>As a Sr. Quality Engineer, you will work inside and outside the organization to define and execute processes that deliver reliable products. The right person for this role has expert knowledge of manufacturing, ability to develop measurement approaches, managing calibrated assets and continuous improvement. <ul>
<li>Develop and implement quality control systems and processes</li>
<li>Recommend approaches to measure our products</li>
<li>Manage a diverse set of calibrated assets in our modern factory</li>
<li>Monitor and analyze quality performance</li>
<li>Inspect materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met</li>
<li>Collaborate with operations and engineering to develop and implement controls and improvements</li>
<li>Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues</li>
<li>Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements</li>
<li>Review standards, specifications, and processes</li>
<li>Create and perform validations for tools and equipment</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus in quality, aerospace, or mechanical engineering or similar technical field <strong>and/or</strong> significant experience in quality engineering, metrology and calibration</li>
<li>Experience in developing metrology solutions in a production environment</li>
<li>Experience managing calibrated assets</li>
<li>Experience developing Measurement Uncertainty Budgets for electrical and mechanical measurement systems</li>
<li>Experience reading and interpreting drawings</li>
<li>GDT knowledge</li>
<li>Root Cause investigation experience</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>U.S. Person Status is required as this position needs to access controlled data</li>
<li>Must be able to obtain a Federal Explosive License through the US BATFE</li>
<li>Ability to obtain a security clearance</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Master’s degree in a technical field</li>
<li>Experience conducting a GRR in an MSA environment (Measurement Systems Analysis)</li>
<li>ISO 17025 experience - Demonstrated hands-on experience in performing mechanical and electronic calibrations under ISO 17025, ensuring adherence to international quality norms.</li>
<li>Experience using a diverse set of metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, electrical meters, balances, scales, load cells etc.)</li>
<li>Experience with Vision Measurement Systems</li>
<li>Excellent project management skills</li>
<li>Experience in an ammunitions and explosives environment</li>
